Your new YA Aluminium products have been manufactured using the highest quality materials available to the security industry. Constructed from Architectural Grade Aluminium and Stainless Steel mesh, with a moderate amount of maintenance, your YA Aluminium products will retain their good looks, and resist the elements for years to come.

Stainless Steel Screen – Your YA Stainless Steel Screen Products should only be cleaned every two months with a soft bristled brush using warm mains water and a mild detergent.

Rinse well to remove any detergent residue paying particular attention to ensure ALL residue is flushed from the mesh retaining areas of the frame. Only mains water is to be used as recycled, bore or tank water is unacceptable and may lead to detrimental corrosion effects. Care should be taken to avoid excessive amounts of water entering the main lock. Strong detergents and abrasive cleaners MUST NEVER be used to clean your YA Products as these may scratch or damage the finish coating and increase the likelihood of corrosion.

Aluminium Shutter and Furniture – Firstly, add non-abrasive mild detergent solution to a bucket of warm water. Wet a clean soft, non-abrasive damp cloth then wipe the aluminium. Make sure that the surfaces are thoroughly rinsed after cleaning to remove all residues.

Warranty

In order to prolong the life of the YA Aluminium product and maintain your rights under this warranty, you must follow the care and maintenance advice listed above. YA Aluminium obligation under this warranty is to repair any of the products which are found to be defective in materials, or workmanship at YA Aluminium discretion for the period of the warranty stated above for the related product after the invoice date We offer ten years structural warranty for our stainless steel mesh and aluminium shutters products. Due to their delicate nature, diamond grille and flyscreens are not covered under additional warranty however; they are covered under Australian Consumer Law. Consumer law states that at the time of install, diamond grille and flyscreens’ must be of acceptable quality with no faults, they must look acceptable and have no holes that would allow a standard house fly to enter through. The accessory products such as locks, hinges, roller and door stopers may be covered by warranties supplied by the relevant manufacturer or supplier.

This Warranty does not:

• Cover conditions or damage caused by storm, tempest, fire, explosion, implosion, failure or movement of supporting structures, falling objects, or other mechanical impact, or other or outside causes;
• Cover products that have been supplied to Salts Spray or Marine influences, severe industrial, or corrosive environments;
• Cover conditions which are partly or entirely attributed to chemical agents, fumes, liquids or solids reacting with or falling onto the product;
• Apply to conditions caused by normal wear and tear, nor to changes in the product which occur normally with the passage of time. For instance the warranty does not apply to the normal fading or ageing of the product. Nor does this warranty cover any finish, or reaction to finishing or maintenance undertaken post purchase;
• Include any conditions or damages resulting from accidents, alteration, misuse, abuse, intervention of motorised devices, or failure to follow the instructions with respect to cleaning and maintenance;
